Munro Partners
Melbourne-based Munro Partners takes its name from the Scottish term for a mountain over 3,000 feet. The team chooses to align themselves with the Munros as they see investing as a process of climbing all mountains…while the perspective from one peak may give you one view, it is only once you have considered the view from other peaks that the whole picture becomes clear.

Munro Partners was established in 2016 by a group of like-minded investment professionals determined to build a different kind of funds management business.
The shared vision came together under the leadership of Nick Griffin, Munro’s chief investment officer and an industry veteran with a long track record of investment success. Formed as a partnership, Munro has an ownership structure that creates and fosters organisational stability, enabling Munro to recruit and retain key staff over the long term.
The partnership is made up of a team of like-minded individuals that have come together to build, own and operate a successful global equities fund manager. All partners are significantly invested in the funds, ensuring strong alignment between partners and investors. It’s a structure that has helped Munro build an enduring business, one that reflects the team’s collective values.
With its goal to be the global growth manager of choice for investors, Munro is single-minded and distinctive in the way it runs its business and manages clients’ money. The team has an unwavering conviction that finding tomorrow’s winners comes from understanding how and why the world is changing – and its investment track record bears this out. Munro invests alongside its clients to benefit from the key structural changes that occur in our world today.
Munro recognises and has integrated Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) considerations into its investment approach and in the monitoring of portfolio investments. The proprietary investment process includes qualitative factor assessment incorporating sustainability and customer perception as two key parts of a company’s characteristics. Companies that are focused on short-term financial goals at the expense of long-term sustainability and customer perceptions are generally excluded.
